1. What this site is

Selling Houses publishes information for homeowners and passes seller inquiries to licensed real estate professionals who work the area the property is in.

We are not a real estate brokerage. We hold no real estate license, we do not list property, we do not represent buyers or sellers, and we are not a party to any real estate transaction. Nothing on this site creates a brokerage or agency relationship between you and us.

2. The agents and offices are independent

A listing agent or real estate office that contacts you after you submit the form is an independent business. They are not our employee, our agent, or our partner in any legal sense, and we do not supervise, direct, or guarantee their work.

Any agreement you reach with an agent or office is between you and them. We are not responsible for what an agent or office says or does, including any opinion of value, any listing agreement, or the result of a sale.

We do not promise that an agent will contact you, or when.

3. What the content here is and is not

The city pages, guides, and the Sell Ready Checklist are general information for homeowners. They are not legal, tax, financial, engineering, or real estate advice, and they are not a substitute for an inspection, a survey, an attorney, or a licensed professional.

We link to county and municipal resources so you can check a fact at its source. Those sites are run by other organizations and we do not control what they publish.

4. Submitting the form

You must be 18 or older to submit the form. Submit it only about a property you own or are authorized to act for, and only with contact details you are entitled to give us. If you submit someone else's details, or a property you are not authorized to act for, you are responsible for any claim that results.

By submitting it you are asking us to send your details to one or more licensed real estate agents or offices that work that area, and you agree that they may contact you about selling the property by phone call, text message, or email, as set out in the statement under the submit button. How we handle those details is in our Privacy Policy.

If the address is outside the area we cover, we keep the request and we tell you plainly that no agent call is scheduled.

5. Acceptable use

Do not submit false, automated, or bulk entries, do not attempt to work around the bot check or the submission limits, and do not scrape, copy, or republish the content on this site in bulk.

6. Availability and accuracy

We write the content on this site carefully and cite sources for the facts on it. Public records change, and so do the pages we link to. If you find something wrong, email us and we will check it.

This site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

8. If part of these terms cannot be enforced

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest of them still apply.

We may update these terms. The current version and the date it was published are at the bottom of this page.
